I've had the chance to stand at the edge of Bryce Canyon a few times to watch the sun rise over the canyon. I had the most amazing pictures two years ago when I decided to leave my camera on the plane and never got it back. I'm determined to go bac
I've had the chance to stand at the edge of Bryce Canyon a few times to watch the sun rise over the canyon. I had the most amazing pictures two years ago when I decided to leave my camera on the plane and never got it back. I'm determined to go back next year and try again. There's something so magical about how the sun lights up the hoodoos, almost like candles, one by one, as it moves over the horizon. Bryce Canyon is one of my favorite national parks, but I don't hear about it as much from people. It's almost unreal how those hoodoos have formed, creating these giant upward-facing rocks. Zion and Bryce are within hours of each other. Fly into Vegas, stay one night just to enjoy the lights, then take the 3-hour drive into Zion. Don't forget to grab In n Out on the way (protein and animal style).

Day 1 of my US National Park Series: Yosemite National Park is not a day trip or even a trip you can’t take in a few days to do it real justice. Getting through the park and actually exploring takes at least a week. I did a solo camping trip, and although it was breathtaking, I don't know if I would do it solo again. There was a lot to experience, and the park is so huge that you must drive to many spots for a while. It would have been nice to experience those drives and those campsite moments with someone else at the time, but I would go there again, even alone, in a heartbeat. #yosemitenationalpark#usnationalparks

This is my last post for the sunrise beach series. This picture was one of my favorites in its original form, so I decided to edit it to make it unique. I call it "Surfer's Dream" because that's what it feels like to me. With all the AI going on, I decided that it would be nice to create more unique pieces and use some of the tools to really play with the feel of my sometimes "normal" landscape photos. Although the voting was close, I will start the National Park series next.
